Katalog wystawy: „Aleksandra Grant. Słowo. Obraz. Przestrzeń”, Muzeum Literatury im. Adama Mickiewicza w Warszawie, 25.09-31.12.2024.

Bogato ilustrowany polsko-angielski katalog towarzyszący wystawie pomyślany został jako wydawnictwo o wyszukanej formie graficznej i materiałowej, nawiązującej do głównych założeń koncepcji kuratorskiej. Zawiera on m.in.: esej  dr Anny Lipy, kuratorki wystawy, omawiający strategię wystawienniczą projektu w Muzeum Literatury, wywiad  Ireny Kain (współkuratorki wystawy) z Alexandrą Grant, przekrojowy esej poświęcony twórczości Alexandry Grant napisany przez wybitną badaczkę sztuki współczesnej prof. dr hab. Martę Smolińską z Uniwersytetu  Artystycznego im. Magadaleny Abakanowicz w Poznaniu, esej Alexandry Grant pt. Wydawca a odbiorca /The Publisher and the Public.

Część albumowa katalogu z reprodukcjami wszystkich  prezentowanych prac odzwierciedla strukturę wystawy. Publikację zamyka kalendarium życia i twórczości artystki oraz spis katalogowy obiektów. Dokumentacja fotograficzna dzieł Alexandry Grant, prezentowanych na wystawie, wykonana przez Piotra Jamskiego w jej berlińskiej pracowni, uwzględnia także proces powstania prac zaprojektowanych przez artystkę specjalnie na wystawę m.in. dwóch instalacji wykonanych w technice neonu, zainspirowanych poezją Szymborskiej.

The lavishly illustrated Polish-English catalogue accompanying the exhibition was conceived as a publication with a sophisticated graphic and material form, referring to the main principles of the curatorial concept. It contains, among others: an essay by dr Anna Lipa, curator of the exhibition, discussing the exhibition strategy of the project at the Museum of Literature, an interview by Irena Kain (co-curator of the exhibition) with Alexandra Grant, a cross-sectional essay on the work of Alexandra Grant written by the prominent contemporary art researcher Professor Marta Smolińska from the Magadalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań, Alexandra Grant’s essay entitled The Publisher and the Public.

The album part of the catalogue with reproductions of all the works presented reflects the structure of the exhibition. The publication closes with a calendar of the artist’s life and work and a catalogue list of objects. The photographic documentation of Alexandra Grant’s works presented at the exhibition, made by Piotr Jamski in her Berlin studio, also takes into account the process of creation of the works designed by the artist especially for the exhibition, including two installations made in the neon technique, inspired by Szymborska’s poetry.
